Interessante manuale di odontoiatria, pubblicato per la prima volta nel 1828, contenente una delle prime illustrazioni di uno specchietto dentale. All'A., particolarmente interessato alla produzione di denti artificiali, viene spesso attribuita l''invenzione della sonda dentale. Cfr. Wellcome,IV,87: According to Quérard (Superchèries), the works published under Maury's name were really written by Auguste Tillet, médecin' (i.e. presumably Auguste Thillaye). If so, this surely means that he provided literary assistance rather than being responsible for the content - Walleriana,10679 (per l'ediz. del 1828).Fioriture intercalate nel testo, ma complessivamente buon esemplare.
